I used to feel secure when I took my personal vehicle and my work vehicles to this shop for any and all work needed. They have good knowledge of all makes and models and I have taken 4 different vehicles to this shop. I wrote this review because I was enraged at the price of 2 things I had done on my 2008 Volvo S80, which is what caused my most recent and most awful experience. Since I have been there multiple times and everything was always done at a very reasonable price, I didn't ask how much it would cost to put in 2 fog light bulbs and to reset my service light after my oil change. It only takes 2 seconds to reset the service light, so it was never an extra charge. When I asked why it was so high, the person behind the counter said that they needed a special guy with special tools to do it. I have taken my car to the Volvo dealership and they reset the service light in front of me by using their 2 fingers and 2 seconds of their time, and the other outrageous charge was for putting in two new fog light bulbs that I provided. The shop said that it was a complicated job and charged me $44 for it. The only thing you need is a screwdriver. I have done this before. I asked the shop to do this because I didn't have time to do it. My oil change with 7.5 quarts of oil and filter was only $32 and my other minor requests were a price that you can call highway robbery. I told them I wouldn't come back to that shop again after I paid what they charged me. The Volvo dealership will reset my service light for free if I pay $55. I don't know what would make me go back to these people. I called the shop back and asked to speak to the owner or shop manager and they took my number and name but I never received a call back from them. If you take your vehicle there, ask them for a price before they do the job so that you are not in for a surprise like I was. I made a mistake by not doing this, so my advice is to go to your dealer.
