I couldn't get a mechanic for my vehicle because of an emergency. The issue was severe at high speeds and non-existent at low speeds, so it was hard to fix. After the mechanic determined that it was a wheel bearing, he replaced it and told me that a steering dampner was to blame. I picked up my car the same night I dropped it off. The issue was the same. I was still at step 1 even though I had been taken for $450. On a Saturday, I drove it back and they came back with a repair estimate for the upper and lower ball joints. They came back with a price that made the first repair free and I was not happy that I now had a bill for much, much more. It took I only gave 4 stars because the method that they gave me the discount removed any warranty on the hardware. I paid them for their time. If my car breaks tomorrow, I'm back at square one with no warranty, but I'm back on the road and only $1000 poorer.
