I decided not to rebuild my Ford Bronco engine about a year and a half ago. I was told by Jasper Engines that they have the right engine for me, a brand new one, and that I should be able to drive it for 0 miles. I plan on owning this truck for the rest of my life. I have already invested about $11k into my truck. I got the first engine a little over a year ago, but I didn't notice the smell of coolant. I saw a lot of stains under my truck. I contacted the shop where I got it done, they ran a test and told me I need a new engine, even though warranty covered it, I still was out a few hundred dollars for a rental vehicle. Finally, get the engine up and running, I have the new engine installed, about 2k miles later, I see a small puddle of coolant towards the middle, near the transmission/ rear-main seal. On Monday, the process will start. I work 16 hours a day and don't know how I'm going to get a rental and drop off my truck. Is it bad engines or bad mechanics at the shop, since the rental shop is closed on Sundays and Mondays? The shop I get my work done has never dealt with an issue like this before. Even though the warranty covers it, I still lose out on money because I need a rental and I have to leave work, you guys are causing me nothing but trouble and even though the warranty covers it, I still lose out on money because I need a rental and I have to leave work It's so sad that I have to take my truck to the shop.
