I entered into a lease deal due to a limited vehicle and need to have a vehicle. I leased until I could purchase. From the moment I drove the car out of the lot, I received warnings from the power train control system that there was a fault in the High Voltage electric circuit. It is possible that vehicle performance may be reduced. I didn't open the message until Saturday, when I called the dealer and left a message, because I didn't have time to look over the features of the car. Due to having a road trip planned for the 4th of July, I called the service department and made an appointment to bring the car in Tuesday morning. After sitting for 3 hours I was finally told by the young lady who serviced me that the problem was a software problem that could not be fixed until Ford made a software but it should be okay just keep your road side number near and I would receive a letter when this software is made. I was so appalled by the ideal that the thought of not having to pay for it was even mentioned, because paying for it is not an option and 2nd being told to keep your roadside number near on a brand new vehicle. I leased a faulty vehicle and am very unhappy with the service I have received.
